starting all over?

so its been a while. I am frustrated with my commitment and fitness and my 60% retracement in 5 months. so started up again today at day 8. I have been trying with the food but failing on alcohol and failing on not eating more than I need in the evening and on sweet tooth control.
so day 8 was my starting point. I am not aiming for 100% commitment but a steady 90% will do. I want to get back to it....

Day 90 - unfinished business

Hi everyone. Sorry I have been so out of touch for a while. Basically for the last 30 days of the project and still on-going I have had a stomach issue which has meant exercise has been and extreme challenge to say the least.
The first 61 days were amazing. I learnt so much from this and I lost weight and gained toned that I thought would take me years and so put me off. But then the frustration of the last 40 days has been incredible. I have eaten pretty well but exercise has not been anything like enough.
So I am away with my family for a couple of weeks back in the UK and have been through another course of antibiotics and finally think I have this thing nailed. Therefore I am going to ramp up the exercise while I am way and do the last 30 days again when I get back.
So the final pictures will have to wait.
However.... What have I learnt? I love fruit snacks. I love the healthy food and I can do this easily 6 days a week on going with no issues. Do I want to do it to this intensity everyday for the rest of my life - no - but I have gained a huge tool and a huge control of myself that I was struggling with.
Thank you so much Patrick and everyone else for all their help along the way. Its been great and has taught me a lot. I really missed exercise and I loved the discipline this provided. The aim therefore is to do the 30 days again and then see how I am doing. What challenge is next??? I know now that I can do almost anything....

Day 61 - ripper

Wow. What a few days this has been. My thoughts continue to be with everyone in Japan, pcpers, friends, anyone there. Its been absolutely mad and I find the scenes incredible but also how everyone locally is behaving is just so dignified.
I do hope the nuclear issue clarifies itself quickly and calmly so that people can start to rebuild their lives. I also wish that the senior news people involved are brought to account for their sensationalist reporting.

It really puts all other things into perspective. Anyway - yesterday after work and everything else I was so mentally exhausted that at 9pm it was all I could do to prepare food rather than exercise so i pushed myself very hard tonight.

Food has been ok and have been helping visiting Brian with that. Exercises today were good. I also have a 12k outrigging race at the weekend which I am looking forward to.

day 59 - intense

wow - so we are nearly 2/3 of the way through this and boy does it feel like I have a lot left to achieve. cool. Brian in HK for a few days so was catching up with him and proving some minor cheffing services I think. I can poison him......

otherwise got home at a decent time after the carnage of the market today. workout was good. food today - nothing major to report.

what is on my mind is very much what is going to happen in the near future. what happens at the end and what happens on a stag weekend I have coming up. admittedly I am going with probably the fittest person I know and he is also a very good conscience so I will do my best but - I cant avoid drinking for a whole weekend for one of my best friends in such circumstances. hmmm. anyway - I am sure things will work out.

day 58 - onwards

so the last couple of days have been a bit tough. bit under the weather and really struggling for the motivation again. however back into it properly again today. food has been fine but just exercise and everything esp whilst distracted with all the friends and so forth in Japan.
anyway - just did a good set and feeling much better for it.
this week will be 110%.

day 54 - back on track

home early and exercises early. out of work unusually at 5pm and I guess thats reward for being up extra early at 5.15am! so ok. food good again and generally a better day.
exercises good although was struggling to get my show offs set up properly so ended up doing some one arm curls as well to make up for technique.
