day 32 - london

first of all - come on everyone. lets not let let it get us down. and second - being on the road and being in my old home town is really really tough.
not being able to get all the right food, having lots of meetings, struggling to time everything is all difficult but still I am doing my best to eat pcp, not eat the bad things and do the exercise.
so I landed, got the exercises done in my hotel room but to do that I had to move literally almost every piece of furniture in my room to have the space to do the skipping. the rest of it was fine and I felt ok until I got to the abs - still finding the double ab sets hard work so havent moved on to the video yet.
met a friend in the evening whose wife is overdue so we went for an indian and ate as healthily as I could.
today the food has been harder but focussed on the core concepts of good protein, vegetables etc. tonight going to fit in my workout and then going to meet some family for a quick light dinner. so not sure how on earth I can do the eggs? tomorrow I have a team drinks session - so even if I survive without drinking anything at all which is my aim - these are people I have known over 15 yrs and used to go out with all the time? not doing anything is going to be hard.
after that it should get a bit easier but ..... working on exercise and core food first with a view that next week I can go ultra perfect and try and make up a bit.
dont let it get you down! we can all beat it...... I wish I could get onto the egg shakes again!

  1. hey nick. cheers for the comment re jumpropes. had a chuckle! think ur doing great; ur on the road, ur seeing fam and friends not seen in ages, i think the advantage of pcp is it gives clear guidelines so that u can focus on the core of it, so even if u cant be as perfect as u like to be, ur not gonna go off the rails. like patrick said, occasionally u can swap jumpropes to jogs or eggs to chicken. before u know it u will be back and right back into the egg shakes (dunno how u can do it..) and makin up for the time away! see u soon!

  3. Do your best, and as you say, nail a week of PPCPDs (perfect PCP days) to get back in the fastlane.
